After collecting luggage, a representative of Himalayan Eco-cultures will attend to you with a placard of your name right outside the arrival gate. Then we will proceed towards our hotel, where our travel planner will meet and brief us about the upcoming events. Check-in in your hotel and get fresh as we will be going out for a delicious Nepali dinner where we can also enjoy some cultural shows.

A 45 min drive to the west of Kathmandu is the beautiful city of Bhaktapur, where Bhaktapur Durbar Square lies. Another ancient palace courtyard, the city is also known as the city of Devotees. Temples built with Nepali bricks, stone-paved ground, red brick houses, and charming locals make the place a beloved tourist destination. Golden gate, Natayapola Temple, National art museum, etc., are some of the famous sites in the area.
Changunarayan
According to myth, once upon a time, the supreme god Vishnu was cursed by a saint. He was trapped in the form of a body in the jungle. A local woodcutter tried to cut the tree, and it bled, which freed the god. Later the temple was built, dedicated to Lord Vishnu.

Early morning, we will fly for 30 minutes to Bhairawa. Then we will drive for an hour to reach Lumbini, the birthplace of Siddhartha Gautama (Gautama Buddha). The crown prince left worldly possession and luxury in search of true knowledge about life to end the suffering of human beings. After the enlightenment, the Buddhist philosophy spread worldwide, and Lumbini became a sacred religious site. Mayadevi temple, Ashoka Pillars, World peace stupa, Lumbini museum, etc., are some of the major tourist attractions.

A 10km north of Lumbini lies Tilarakot, where Buddha spent 29 years before leaving the palace in search of enlightenment. After spending our morning in Lumbini, we will take an hour’s drive to the airport, where we will take 30 minutes flight to Kathmandu.
Budanilkantha Temple
The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the supreme protector in Hinduism. 5 meters tall statue of Bishnu lying above serpents is the temple’s primary idol. According to myth, a farmer and his wife found the statue while plowing a field. When the kodalo hit the statue, it began to bleed, and people made a temple and began to worship it.
